Moscow

Moscow is many things to many people. Some love it, some hate it, some find it friendly, some not but whatever you have been told the city is exciting and as it embraces the western culture it can also be the city of opportunity.

Moscow has wonderful buildings, historical sites, broad avenues, famous theatres busy restaurants, bars and cafes, parks and squares. The Kremlin and its surrounds were settled around the 11th century but the founding of Moscow by Yury Dolgoruky, Prince of Suzdal in 1147. Since then many changes and revolutions have changed Moscow. The city is still recovering from the economic crash of 1998 but it still remains the most freewheeling city in Russia.

Winters in Russia are extremely cold due to much of the country being so far north.
From May to early September summer days in the north are long and generally warm. During July and August Russia experiences its wettest months even though it is summer.
