South on ulitsa Volochaevskaya is the Arboretum, a 12-hectare botanical garden.

The oriental bazaar is the biggest trade market in the region, you will have to pay an admission fee but the experience is terrific.

Birobidzhan is a small city located 180kms west of Khabarovsk. Its region museum is contains all of the Jewish history of the region.

Wonderful memories of the Sikhote Alin nature reserve in Ternie. The reserve is home to tigers and it stretches along the pacific coast and then back to the Sikhote Alin Mountains. This area has glorious streams and savannahs and is a must see for those who love wildlife watching. You will need a permit to enter the reserve.

At Vladivostok you will find the Lutheran church. Behind the church is the funicular railway, which connects ulitsa Pushkinskaya with ulitsa Sukhanova.

Vladivostok is also home to Yul Brynner's family. There is a display of the Brynner family and their history in the Arsenev Regional Museum.

The museum here holds relics of the Pacific Fleet.

The Art Gallery holds a number of 17th century Dutch painters and some excellent pieces of Russian works.
